Informed by the 2024 National Osteoporosis Guideline Group (NOGG) update, which was published in early 2025, I will summarise the main recommendations made by NOGG, and outline the updates made at this time. I will summarise the scope of The NOGG guideline, recommendations for fracture risk assessment, drug treatment initiation including anabolic therapies and longer-term care, and recommendations for those receiving glucocorticoid therapy. I will summarise the lifestyle intervention guidance, make recommendations regarding fracture liaison service provision, and discuss recommendations regarding management of people with vertebral fracture specifically. I will draw atiention to NOGGs recommendations regarding training, commissioning and auditing of patient care.
